Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, learners will:
- Refresh their knowledge from the IOSH Managing Safely® course
- Recall the legal responsibilities and duties for health and safety within an organisation
- Further develop their understanding of how to control and mitigate workplace hazards such as equipment, machinery, electricity, fire, and ergonomic issues
- Build upon their knowledge of identifying hazards, assess risks and complete risk assessment documents
- Reaffirm the importance of monitoring and measuring health and safety performance
- Be confident to implement and manage effective risk control measures
- Increase their knowledge of health and safety management systems
Upon completion of this course, learners will receive an IOSH Managing Safely® Refresher certificate.
