IoT Boost – Pitch & Social

On the 22nd March we will be assembling a showcase of the newest and brightest Internet of Things ideas coming from North East companies. If you have a great IoT idea or an already established IoT product/service, or just want to find out about some great IoT ideas you should come along and get involved…
At this event we will have a broad audience of new & established businesses, venture capitalists, funding angels and representatives from a broad range of sectors including river & marine, social housing, emergency services and transport.
If you would like to a present your idea or product/service at the event please select this option when you register. There are 15 pitching slots available and these will be booked on a first come first served basis. Please note you will be limited to 5 minutes and 5 slides for your presentation.
At the event we will also hear about the following business opportunities and how to apply:
• The North East Combined Authority’s Connected Vehicle Initiative
• Nissan’s IoT ambitions and Innovation Scheme
• The Environment Agency’s Water Hub
Based on feedback from previous events we are asking attendees to identify if they are hardware, middleware or software companies, or simply just interested in the Internet of Things.

During the networking event we will also be unveiling three pieces of IoT-inspried artwork, commissioned as part of the IoTUK Boost programme celebrating the relationship between technology and design. The artwork will be unveiled by Paul Callaghan of the Sunderland MAC Trust.
