IRG member Professor Maria Lucia Di Bitonto from LUISS "Guido Carli" University of Rome and the University of Camerino will give a comparative presentation on corporate criminal law and procedure in Italy with a special focus on corruption.

Maria Lucia Di Bitonto has been a professor of the faculty of law at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome since 2007, where she teaches criminal procedure. She has been also a professor of the School of Law at University of Camerino, an ancient Italian university founded in 1336. She wrote extensively on the subject of criminal procedure. Her studies are focused on criminal evidence, public prosecutor, human rights and procedure, criminal procedings against corporations, pre-trial detention. She is author of 4 monographs and many articles and essays.
