Description

5th Annual Irish in Britain Seminar Series

24 Oct – 21 Nov 2013

Irish migration to Britain has increased significantly in recent years. The way in which previous generations of Irish migrants responded to the challenges presented by building lives in this country can offer revealing insights and perspectives on current day preoccupations. This year’s seminar series examines this process from a variety of historical perspectives with a focus on social and political engagements.
