Event Information
Description
The launch of the Home Performance Labelling (HPL) project led by Imperial College London in partnership with HTA Design and funded by Climate-KIC. The project aims to research the business case for Home Performance Labelling (HPL).
HPL seeks to change the behaviour of the European housing market and its constituents, through providing comparable, accessible and transparent information on housing quality and products to those wishing to purchase, rent or manage homes in order to encourage more sustainable homes. This project stage will assess the business case and business models available to implement the idea.
The evening will hear from:
Aled Thomas, Climate-KIC - The Innovation Opportunity
Ben Derbyshire, Chair of HTA and current PRIBA - Meeting Housing Needs
Professor Peter Childs, Imperial College London - Integrating Design with the Built Environment
Stephen Hurford, Hurford Salvi Carr – Giving the Agents perspective on the potential importance of HPL
Ending with a short panel discussion followed by drinks and canapés.
