University of East Anglia (UEA), Chevening Scholarship and the British Council Present:

“Is the World Moving Forward? Ideas and Numbers in International Development”

The University of East Anglia (UEA), Chevening Scholarship and the British Council invite you to join them for a guest lecture, introducing the subject of International Development and how to be successful in your Chevening Scholarship application.

Dr Lucio Esposito (Senior Lecturer in International Development at UEA) will discuss historical and conceptual issues within International Development as well as providing up to date statistics and data from the sector. The University of East Anglia is a UK Top 15 (Times 2018) and World Top 200 University (THE World University Rankings 2018) and is considered a world leader in Development Studies, ranked 15th in the world for this subject area (QS World Rankings 2018).

Following the lecture, Aparna Patil from the British High Commission will introduce the Chevening Scholarship, the UK government’s global scholarship programme that offers future leaders the unique opportunity to study in the UK with a fully-funded scholarship. Grace Muchunu an alumnus of both UEA and Chevening will discuss her experiences and the session will end with a Q&A.
