Since the expansion of the Black Lives Matter movement, Dana's inbox has been filled with questions from allies and those who want to be allies, the biggest of which has been "Is This Ok?". Hence the name of the event!

This hour event that showcases examples from both Black Lives Matter and Pride helps answer some of these questions and gives a bit of a how-to guide for expressing allyship on social media. In a lighthearted take on the topic Dana will showcase some of her favourite follows who consistently get it right, alongside some well-meaning individuals and brands who missed the mark a little ... and some others who were downright wrong (with identifying details hidden of course). By showing what people got right and what they got wrong, Dana provides a framework for using your voice to help you step up strong and with confidence as an ally on social media. There will also be time for a few questions at the end!
