About this Event

In the wake of the general election campaign where issues of trust have dominated the agenda, a potential presidential impeachment and in the face of the rising importance and influence of social and new media, who believes in Truth in a post-Truth world? Do journalists and broadcasters need to change their tactics when it comes to reporting and representation?

Discussion to run 19.00-20.00. Guests are encouraged to have a drink and mingle afterwards.

  • Trevor Phillips: Writer, broadcaster, Chair of Index on Censorship and at Green Park
  • Theo Usherwood: Political Editor on LBC
  • Rosamund Urwin: Senior Reporter, The Sunday Times
