The attendee will leave with a practical toolkit and insight to which risks they should be addressing as a priority within their organisation.

Description

The aim of the seminar is to provide delegates with practical knowledge of risk management that can be applied to improve the management of their organisation – what is risk management, what are the common risks that most companies face, how to manage risks and creation of your company’s initial risk plan. Following the event delegates will be provided with a toolkit that can then be applied to their organisation.

By the end of the training attendees will understand:

• What is risk management?

• Common risks facing most businesses

• How to assess, grade and articulate risks

• How to mitigate and manage risks

• How to publish and communicate risks on an on-going basis

• Prioritising the common risks of your business

Longer term it is hoped that this seminar forms part of your company’s transformation and is viewed as an initial step to recognise and encourage the company’s future plan.

Speaker & Facilitator:

Lloyd has over 25 years’ experience in planning, supporting and managing projects for various clients. Most notably he was the overall Programme Manager for the build and launch of the BBC's Roath Lock Studios and the approval of the final Business Plan for the new headquarters for the BBC in Wales.

Throughout his career, Lloyd has fine-tuned a process taking the best from professional project methodologies and internal processes to create practical risk management toolkit. He is now applying this toolkit to various SME clients so that they can benefit from pragmatic process and a knowledge bank of identifying and managing standard business risks.
