Overview
This interactive workshop supports organisations and consortia development applications for the ISCF Transforming Food Production Science and Technology into Practice Competitions awarding up to £15 million across two competition strands . These strands are:
- Feasibility study projects - up to £5 million with grants between £75,000 and £250,000.
- Demonstration projects - a total of up to £10 million with grants between £400,000 and £4 million
The Transforming Food Product Science and Technology into Practice Awards support projects that will have the potential to improve productivity and sustainability and contribute to the target of net zero emissions from agriculture by 2040.
The creative and interactive workshop will support consortia and partnerships to further develop their thoughts, networks and collaborations in preparation for building a submission to the Transforming Food Production Science and Technology into Practice Competitions.

Background
The UK's Industrial Strategy sets out Grand Challenges to put the UK at the forefront of the industries of the future, ensuring that the UK takes advantage of major global changes, improving people’s lives and the country’s productivity.
Transforming Food Production is recognised as a key driver of Clean Growth under the Industrial Strategy.
The £90 million Transforming Food Production programme aims to integrate current world-class UK capabilities (digital technologies, artificial intelligence, engineering, biological, environmental and social sciences) into precision approaches both within new novel production systems and traditional agricultural systems to target net zero emissions.
