Inverness Science Festival 2018 - Public Programme

Jurassic Palaeontology on the Isle of Skye. Elsa Panciroli, University of Edinburgh

This talk will explore the latest palaeontological discoveries from the Isle of Skye - from dinosaurs and fossil footprints, to spectacular and rare Jurassic-age mammals. Find out how CT-scanning has transformed our research, and lets us visualise Scotland’s internationally important mammal fossils like never before. Discover what these
fossil finds can tell us about Scotland in the time of the dinosaurs.
