TweedLove's family bike-fun day. An event that's all about taking part, and even more about having fun on your bike, the Islabikes Family Day consists of three fun ‘races’ for kids – seeing how many laps they can do, or going that wee bit faster!

Every child will get a pro-style number board with their name on it, and every child who takes part will also receive a medal. There’s no podiums this year – everyone is a winner! The riding is all on grass, through Victoria Park - a change of venue for 2017, and even closer to the centre of Peebles.

Events:

Mini mash up – run bikes up to P1

Two sessions: 12.30pm – 1.30pm and 1.45pm – 2.45pm

Mega mash up – pedal bikes up to P2

Two sessions: 12.30pm – 1.30pm and 1.45pm – 2.45pm

Mighty Mash up 1 – P2: Team of 2 riders*

Mighty Mash up 2 – P3: Teams of 2 riders*

Mighty Mash up 3 – P4: Teams of 2 riders*

Mighty Mash up 4 – P5: Teams of 2 riders*

The Mighty Mash Up ‘races’ will run between approx. 1pm – 4:30pm. The time of each ‘race’ will be made available on the website prior to the event, and will also be included in the riders notes.

*If you are a Mighty Mash Up team with mixed ages, the team will need to go in the category for the older child (i.e. if one child is in P2 and the other is in P3, they will need to ride in the P3 category).
