Island FM have teamed up with Regency Bedding and have created an exciting event and fundraiser to introduce Primary School Children to a fun afternoon of Taster Sessions of Alternative Sports and Activities with Outdoor Guernsey at Rue Maingy Activity Centre. The Sporting activities will include; Archery, the Indoor Climbing Wall and High Ropes.
Families will be invited to join us from 11a.m. on Sunday 16th April at Rue Maingy. We expect 100’s of children to attend and for the Grande Finale of a fun afternoon of child development and sport, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt with prizes for all the children.
There will be a small entry fee per child; and all proceeds will go to the GSPCA. In addition there will be a raffle. ALL proceeds will go to charity.
Our very own Island FM mascot, Daniel the Donkey will also be present to meet the children.
Tickets will be on sale for £5 per child, Adults go free.
Island FM Terms and Conditions:
There must be 1 adult to accompany every 3 children
You will be asked to provide your ticket reference number on Sunday 16th April as proof of purchase.
Each £5 admission fee entitles 1 child to all ‘Outdoor Guernsey’ activities, bouncy castle and Easter Egg Hunt. Any food and refreshments are an extra cost.
Use of bouncy castles must have parental guidance; they will not be attended by any staff members. Use is at your own risk.
Only children aged 6 and over can participate in the Outdoor Guernsey Activities.
No dogs are allowed at the event.
Plastic Eggs will be used on the Hunt, these are not edible. Any Plastic Easter Eggs that are collected from the Easter Egg Hunt will be exchanged for a Small Easter Egg. Any ‘Gold’ Plastic Easter Eggs collected will be exchanged for a Large Gold Easter Egg. Please note that Easter Eggs may contain nuts.
No parking at at Rue Maiguy. Any disabled vehicles will have priority parking. Car park at La Mare de Carteret Primary School between 10.30am and 5.00pm.
Any vehicles parked at Rue Mainguy or La Mare De Carteret Primary School are left at their own risk. Island FM, Rue Mainguy and La Mare de Carteret will not be held responsible for any damage that may be caused.
The Raffle will be drawn at the event, as a result of any winners leaving the premises and not claiming their prize another ticket will be drawn.
St John’s Ambulance will be present at the event.
Parent/Guardians are responsible for any belonging that may be brought with you to the event. Island FM & Rue Mainguy will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Outdoor Guernsey reserves the right to cancel any session where conditions prevent safe participation
Suitable clothing and footwear should be worn on all activities, jewellery and loose items are not advised, we cannot be responsible for personal items or damage to clothing.
Outdoor Guernsey and its instructors take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of their participants; by giving your consent to take part you acknowledge that by their very nature adventure activities may carry some minor risk of injury. Any hazards will be explained and participants must follow all instruction, you will be responsible for your own actions and behaviour.
All participants must inform Outdoor Guernsey of any medical issues or special needs that may impact on the safety of themselves or their group.
We advise that participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol should not take part in activities. Outdoor Guernsey reserves the right to exclude any participant for safety reasons at any time.
Photographs will be taken during activities sessions for promotional material and on our website.
