IMPORTANT: We can't guarantee how long the fix will take as it depends on the problem, which means that, even if you have booked a timed slot, there may be a wait.
ONLY ONE ITEM PER PERSON.
The focus of the event is skill-sharing, where participants with broken items take an active role in their repair.
** WHAT THE ISLINGTON FIXERS CAN'T FIX **
Please do check as we don't want you to lug these items to the workshop.
- Large battery packs e-bikes, scooters, hoverboards, etc. There's a risk of fire
- Mains pressure washers. We don't have to space where they can be tested - (ie: outdoors with a hose pipe, etc)
- Microwaves. They're extremely high voltage with potentially carcinogenic insulation
- Anything that may contain asbestos as an insulated material. It’s rare, but has happened. (Think 1930/40/50’s kettles etc.)
