Event description

Description

The latest revision to ISO9001 was published in September 2015 to reflect the ever more complex business environment we have today. Every organisation currently certified to the 2008 version must revise its systems to meet the new requirements by September 2018 to maintain their certificates. To date, many local companies have already successfully made the transition but many more have yet to address the issue.

Session Content

There will be an introduction to the ‘highlights’ such as: -

  • ‘Context of the Organisation’ – who are ‘interested parties’ and what do they want?
  • ‘Leadership’ – What does it mean and how can you demonstrate it to an independent auditor?
  • ‘Risk Management’ – how do you plan to address them?
  • What are the other significant changes?

Who is the masterclass for?

This short masterclass is designed to help companies either renewing their certification or starting the journey for the first time to understand the new revisions and what they may need to do to achieve them.

Who is leading the masterclass?

Steve Goodare, Principal Consultant at System Improvement Consultancy, is a highly-qualified Business Professional with extensive senior management experience of business direction. He also has over 10 years’ experience of National and ERDF funded business support programme management and business consultancy service provision. As a Manufacturing Advisor he has worked with hundreds of organisations, supporting them on the development of strategies to overcome the barriers and hurdles they face, and has developed an extensive network of manufacturing and stakeholder contacts in the region.

This event will be delivered by the ‘Sheffield City Region Growth Hub Enhancement Project’ that is part-funded by the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
