ISSA-UK Annual General Meeting
Intro
We kick off our virtual year in September after much impact from the pandemic. And don't worry - we are as fatigued from virtual events as you!
That said, chapter business must go on, and it will be good to get a chance to see some familiar faces for those who wish to participate fully.
ISSA has always been about networking, and we didn't want to lose that. Your survey responses indicated the same. Hope we get it right!
Agenda
Three orders of business - the AGM, a good talk, and a forum and space to chat or exchange ideas. That's what we'll be delivering.
- 1630 - the Annual General Meeting will commence. It will be a members only, interactive presentation and discussion around chapter direction, elections and the future
- 1710 - the Open Chapter Meeting is next, where we both spend a bit of time learning, and if you are game, stick around a bit for some discussion. We'll start off with James Chappell, go into an open session, and then continue from there. This talk will be streamed!
Account Takeover: Data Findings, Popular Tools, and Prevalent Actors
Join James Chappell, CTO & Co-Founder at Digital Shadows to learn about our latest research on account takeover. This combines data findings from Digital Shadows' repository of 15 billion credentials and activity from the cybercriminal underground. Attendees will learn about this global problem as well as:
- The attacker's toolkit & current approaches
- Most active actors
- Best practices for preventing account takeover
- Next a private networking session on Zoom. We'll be hosting and breakout rooms will (technology dependent), be available. Also, you asked for a second speaker, so we've tried to line one up! Watch this space...
