Rick Lee, the Arup North West & Yorkshire Retrofit Leader, will give a presentation on the importance of retrofit, the role of structural engineers in the redevelopment decision process, a client’s perspective, and why retrofit requires a different structural approach compared to new builds. He will also share his experiences delivering the York Guildhall and Temple Works retrofit projects.
