It Goes as Follies: with Len Graham and special guests

By School of Arts, English and Languages

Overview

A special edition of our monthly session, in homage to our founding director Ciaran Carson. This time with a focus on storytelling.

This special edition of our monthly It Goes as Follies session is all about the power of storytelling. We established these events in the spirit of our founding director and much-missed friend Ciaran Carson, and particularly his book Last Night's Fun.

This evening will feature Len Graham, who regularly sang with Ciaran and Deirdre Carson, at events and sessions where music and stories were exchanged, celebrated and passed along.

Len will be joined by some other special guests to be announced. It will be followed by the raising of some glasses and a formal launch of The Brimming World, a collection of short prose and essays by Ciaran Carson, edited by Gail McConnell and published by Gallery Press. Guests are welcome to stay on for this book launch.
