Event description

Description

Frank O’Hara was one of New York’s most beloved poets, famous for his vivid evocations of the city’s cafes and bars, traffic and train-lines, construction workers and artists. He wrote as he lived – in the moment.

Join us for…

  • a guest talk by Matthew Holman (UCL)
  • a live, interactive, public reading of Meditations in an Emergency
  • a performance Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2

All welcome. Wine and refreshments (and a poem to read!) will be provided.

A partnership event with the University of Birmingham.
