SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES

Laura Morris

Laura Morris is a Business Development Manager at the UK's leading social mobility charity, Speakers for Schools. Laura creates impactful partnerships with employers to support their CSR and ESG goals. Laura is passionate about social mobility and youth engagement and focuses on creating meaningful work experience opportunities that help young people thrive. She has collaborated with major organisations including Equifax and Boots, driving initiatives that bridge the gap between education and the world of work.

Sophie Connolly

Sophie Connolly is a Group Sustainability Advisor at QinetiQ, where she’s spent the past three years helping drive the company’s transition to a more sustainable future, including leading the Group’s community outreach program. Originally joining the business as a graduate, Sophie trained as a composite engineer before transitioning into sustainability.

Beyond their role, Sophie is also the Co-Chair of the ICRS Aspire committee, supporting early career professionals and others wanting to transition into a role within sustainability by fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration and career development.

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
