Danilo Cortellini, born in Abruzzo, a small region in central Italy steeped in culinary tradition, worked in London for 10 years as head chef at the Italian Embassy, before appearing on 2015’s BBC2 MasterChef: The Professionals, where he was one of the finalists. Danilo’s latest book, Better Than Nonna: Modernised Italian Recipes, brings the classic comfort of Italian food but with a dazzling twist of adventurous new flavours.
Angelo Coassin is a food writer better known as Cooking With Bello, whose culinary creations went viral on TikTok, starting with simple videos of making pasta dishes that quickly gained popularity. From there on, he created more elaborate recipes and experimented with different types of cuisine, from Italian to Japanese and everything in between. Now, he brings us a brand new cook book called Cook Like a Real Italian: Super Sexy and Simple Recipes from Cooking with Bello, featuring 60–70 classic and contemporary Italian recipes, from carbonara to pizza muffins and homemade gelato.
