We’re bringing the spirit of Southern Italy to life in Belfast!

Italian Folk Dances is a 2-hour session focused on two traditional folk dances from Southern Italy: Tammurriata, from Campania, and Pizzica Pizzica, from Puglia.

Led by the performers of Italian Folk Connection, this experience invites participants to explore the cultural roots, rhythmic structures, and expressive movements of the traditional dances, while discovering their ritual meaning and contemporary relevance.

The workshop is open to all ages, and no dance experience or partner is needed. It’s a chance to explore a part of Italy’s cultural heritage through movement and music.
