On the occasion of the festival Goodbye Dolce Vita:
Lesson/concert presented by Dimitri Scarlato
Special guest: Prof. Jonathan Cole
Dimitri Scarlato (composer/conductor and lecturer) will introduce a concert featuring music by 7 young Italian composers.
Dimitri will be joined by Jonathan Cole (composer and composition teacher at the Royal College of Music) to discuss the influence of Italian established composers, from the 20th century, over the young generations.
Among the performers is legendary cellist Rohan de Saram, for whom Berio wrote the Sequenza no.XIV.
