As usual at our pop-ups, our resident wine expert Jamie will put his wine knowledge and taste testing expertise into action to match up a selection of wines to accompany the evening menu.
This month's pop-up welcome's Sirous of Limoncello (The best Italian deli in England), who will prepare a traditional four course Italian supper.
This Italian supper & wine pop-up combines authentic Italian flavours with well-matched wines from the vast regions of Italy.
What to expect at this pop-up…
The four-course Italian supper including a flight of three matched wines is £35 per person, payable in cash on the night.
The £10 eventbrite payment per person confirms your table reservation, and entitles you to a glass of Prosecco and aperitivo on arrival.

An age old happy couple, sweet melon finds its perfect partner in contrast with the saltiness of dried ham
Bella Rocket Crab di Limoncello e Chilli Linguine
Limoncello's finest Italian linguine in a piquant sun blushed tomato dressing, topped with crab and finished with slices of fresh red spicy chilli and rocket leaves
Taleggio con Parma Ham
Taleggio, a fruity Italian cow’s milk cheese, wrapped in Parma ham, baked in the oven, drizzled with sweet aged balsamic vinegar and served in a fresh basil pesto sauce
Panettone e Sicilian Lemon Cannoli
Panettone, a sweet bread loaf originally from Milan, made exclusively for Limoncello by Bonifanti, a family firm of Italian bakers, served with crème di mascarpone
Lemon Cannoli Siciliani, Italian light pastry roll filled with a lemon cream
Zuppa di verdure Toscana con parmigiano (v)
A classic Tuscan vegetable soup: tomatoes, carrots, celery, white cabbage, leek and kidney beans, seasoned with thyme and oregano, and sprinkled with parmesan
Piedmontese gnocchi (v)
Gnocchi, soft dough dumplings, served with a hearty red wine and tomato sauce, topped with buffalo mozzarella and basil, served with fresh home-made bread
Taleggio con zucchine (v)
Taleggio, a fruity Italian cow’s milk cheese, wrapped in marinated garlic courgettes, baked in the oven, drizzled with sweet aged balsamic vinegar and served in a fresh basil pesto sauce
Vanilla Panna Cotta (v)
Panna Cotta, a traditional cooked cream desert, served with a simple mixed berry compote

Jamie has over 17 years' experience in the wine trade, in the past 12 months alone is proud to have tasted and reviewed hundreds of wines! He regularly hosts private wine-tastings, selecting wine based on themes, or to accompany food.
Annabel has over 10 years' experience in creating, marketing and managing events internationally.
Since August 2014 the team have hosted 15 Popups working with a range of local chefs and caterers. Expect to see great things from this pair as they heat up Cambridge's events scene with new and exciting popups, and events that get you out and about.
