Aims: Learn how to use the iTero intraoral scanner in everyday practice in all aspects of patient communication, patient care, orthodontically and restoratively
Objectives:
1. Utilise the iTero intraoral scanner in everyday practice - "The DIGITAL consult"
2. Understand how to add value to every patient consultation, with one scan which has multiple benefits, to understand the Oral Health Suite and NIRI
3. Educate patients and use the iTero intraoral scanner as a visualisation tool for orthodontic and restorative treatments.
4. Help patient engagement and understanding, increasing uptake of treatments and reducing "white space"

Paul Abrahams has been the principal owner of Smilemore Dental Care in St John’s Wood for over 30 years - now part of PortmanDentex – and is also a Clinical Engagement Lead for PortmanDentex. He is a Past President of the BACD and a founding member and ex-board member of the BAPD. Paul has a particular interest and expertise in digital dentistry and was one of the first dentists in the UK to adopt an iTero scanner. He has also incorporated chairside milling and printing workflows into his everyday practice. With a mantra of “the only constant is change” he believes education should be fundamental to every dentist’s progression. He is a co-founder of the REAL Dentist Academy and lectures both in the UK and internationally.
