Come and see us at Braintree Library and experience one of our Community Dementia Days. This is an opportunity to see how we are sharing our library with others in the community to support those with dementia. It’s all about improving understanding, getting involved and increasing awareness of how the community can come together to help support our more vulnerable friends and neighbours.
It’s all about making a difference to those with and those supporting people with dementia. You can get involved and see the benefits to those with dementia of singing with the Goldies or reminiscing using Memory Walls with the Braintree Museum and Silk Museum
There is also a chance to see how various support groups such as the Alzheimer’s Society and the Braintree Dementia Awareness Alliance are working to provide practical help and support.
Come and be inspired and experience the difference a community can make when it comes together and shares its skills, passion and experience … the power of partnership working.
