Sometime we all have to have a conversation we aren't comfortable with. It might be that you see that someone has become ill because they can't afford to turn their heating on. They might not want to ask for help. How do you start that conversation tactfully?
This FREE course (funded by British Gas Energy Trust Project and designed and delivered by Dorset Mental Health Forum) explores mental health and wellbeing in the context of the work that you do and the people that you support. By exploring our understanding together, we can challenge stigma and build confidence. Through lived experience expertise and the principles of Recovery education, this course will provide participants with tools and signposting that will enhance the support that they can provide to people during their work and within the BGET project.
This course has been held before and the feedback has been great!
'Helped me to identify a need and signpost effectively.
Greater awareness and how to signpost.
Making me more aware of other people’s situations, life and needs'.
Come along! We look forward to seeing you then at CLaRC, Kings Street, Wimborne .
