Greater Birmingham Engage for Success | Share + Learn + Inspire Network | Free Breakfast Event

It’s just a bit of banter, right?

Thursday 15th February | 8.00am – 10.00am – Hays Human Resources, 1 Colmore Square, Birmingham

Find out for free what the language of your workplace tells you about engagement with Diversity and Inclusion specialist Baljit Kaur at our next working breakfast in Central Birmingham.

Join us in early February and be inspired by likeminded people who work every day to improve employee engagement. Expect to leave with a warm feeling, not just from the hot coffee and complimentary breakfast buffet but also because you’re brimming with new ideas that you can take back to your day job.

After December’s inspirational forum with Sally Bourner from West Midlands Police we’ve lined up another brilliant local speaker to tell you about their experience and answer your questions.

Harmless fun or mirthless mistakes?

From the White House to front of house, workplace banter has been the subject of much debate in recent months. Baljit will share her decade of experience across private and public sector organisations to look at how these high profile cases translate to our workplaces. She’ll also explain how banter informs engagement and look at how the language of banter can help to unlock employee voice.

When opinions vary wildly on what is acceptable, we’ll use small group discussions and activities to explore how to manage or control banter in the workplace.

Places are limited at this free event, so If you feel able to commit to attending, then please book in now.
