It's Not Okay Play - Exploring Healthy & Unhealthy Relationships
I Am Me Scotland and NSPCC Scotland, as part of the “Ready To Talk” campaign, is facilitating a regional tour of an immersive theatre-in-education production titled “It’s Not Okay”. We would like to invite all members of Renfrewshire's communities, including parents, carers, professionals and youth groups to join us to see this engaging play, commissioned by the NSPCC and created by York St John University (YSJ). This will be an opportunity for attendees to see the play that is being toured to S2 pupils across Renfrewshire.
The play is designed to address and explore the crucial themes of healthy and unhealthy relationships, including grooming, online safety and exploitation. The play will be around 25 minutes long followed by a Q&A for you to learn about the Ready to Talk campaign and the resources that have been developed to keep children and young people safe.
Due to the sensitive nature of the content, this performance is not suitable for children under the age of 11. Attendees who arrive with children under 11 may be refused entry to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.
You are welcome to book tickets on behalf of a group, and we kindly ask that anyone under the age of 16 is accompanied by an adult.
