We are delighted to announce that following the overwhelming successes in previous years ITTP will be holding its third annual conference, bringing together education and the TV industry.
If you are involved in training and education then this one day conference is your chance to listen, contribute and network with manufacturers, broadcasters and employers of the next generation of tv, film, broadcast and media professionals.
Our opening discussion features leading names with a key influence in employment decisions
Andy Beal, Head of Engineering at BT Sport,
Darren Long, Head of Production and Studios at Sky,
Sarah Moores, Head of Production and Training Technology, BBC Academy,
Martyn Suker, Head of Production Innovation, ITV Studios,
Chris Cannon Director of Technical Operations, NEP Broadcast Services
Peter Love, CEO, Arena Mobiles
Andy Cully, CEO, Dock 10 Manchester
A chance for those who teach the next generation of television technical and craft people to meet the employers and discuss what they want from graduating students.
The day will consist of an emphasis of hands on training, round table and breakout sessions. The latter will give academics a chance to discuss the latest developments with manufacturers and practitioners, in particular the effects on the various craft/technical skills required, and get hands on experience with the latest equipment – lighting, cameras and sound. There will also be a presentation of engineering developments with 4k working, plus the chance to discuss makeup skills with the CBMA Makeup Academy.
The first part of the Applied Skills Scheme will be launched for discussion at the conference and the ITTP will be seeking feedback from employers and educators alike.
And – of course – there'll be plenty of opportunities to network with leading figures in the industry.
