IV Drug Administration Study Day WMH

This study day focuses on the key aspects of medicines management and IV administration. It includes accountability, management of incidents, fundamentals of pharmacology, cannula care and risks associated with IV therapy.

• All attendees must have completed the trust’s oral medicine administration workbook.

• All attendees must collect the trust IV workbook, from the Clinical Learning and Development (1st floor, eduction centre) at least 2 weeks prior the course date.

• All attendees must have completed the Knowledge for Practice and Drug Calculations sections in the Trust’s IV Drug Administration workbook. The workbook must be brought along to the session. Admission will not be granted without a completed workbook.

• Staff must have approval from their line manager before booking onto this course via Eventbrite.
