Innovative leadership skills for business: How to be Resilient and Agile Leaders in times of Uncertainty
IVE offer training that is designed to help businesses of all sizes grow by developing internal talent.
This session is focused on supporting businesses to remain resilient and agile in response to significant change. It will provide an insight into IVE’s Higher Performing Workplaces programme and will include interactive activities and a Q&A session with the trainer.
If you enjoy the free session and would like to book training with IVE, businesses in West Yorkshire can receive 40% ESF funding towards the cost of IVE’s Higher Performing Workplaces Training.
This 75 minute, highly interactive session equips participants with an understanding of the behaviours that underpin resilience and provides a toolkit of simple techniques that can be applied in the workplace, which are guaranteed to impact on their teams’ ability to remain agile, whilst creating an innovative culture.
IVE's programmes enable aspirant, middle and senior leaders to apply a variety of techniques to strategic problems in their organisations and analyse the impact on them individually, within their team and across the business as a whole.
The session will be led by Drew Rowlands, Deputy CEO at IVE. Drew leads the commercial strand of IVE’s work and is responsible for design and delivery of their Creative Leadership training programmes. He developed his expertise of leadership and creativity through his 30+ years’ experience of senior leadership roles within education in schools, local authorities and governance. Drew now works with business leaders from a range of sectors, unlocking imagination so that problems can be seen as challenges and embracing creativity as a means of driving productivity.
Drew sits on Leeds Chamber of Commerce Leadership Group; is Chair of Education on the board of Shakespeare North; Vice Chair of a through school in Leeds and a member of the British Actors Equity Association. Drew is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce. In his spare time Drew is a keen writer, and had is first novel ‘Tales of an Ordinary Man’ published in 2014.
How to be Resilient and Agile Leaders in times of Uncertainty is part of Higher Performing Workplaces, which is managed by the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges and funded by the European Social Fund. Eligibility criteria applies.
