After the success of previous years’ conferences, the London IWIRC network is delighted to be hosting this event again on 6 November 2025 in conjunction and with sponsorship from Octus.
The sessions for the day are set out as follows:
- Session 1: Fireside chat with Caitlin Moran. Caitlin is one of Britain’s most influential columnists, interviewers and critics and an award-winning author. She has won a number of awards for her journalism, including several Columnist of the Year awards, as well as Interviewer and Critic of the Year.
- Session 2: Confidence in a crisis: Controlling the narrative in a financial storm. When a story about a company’s precarious situation hits the media, it can spread fast and wide - and can have a devastating impact. Panel members Emma Woollcott from Mischon de Reya and Fiona Micallef-Eynaud from Brunswick Group will guide delegates through an interactive and dynamic crisis scenario and give insights on best practices to handle the communications process, understand your various stakeholders, and provide real-life examples from key cases.
- Session 3: 'Views from the bench' with Lord Justice Snowden, Court of Appeal, England and Wales, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York Lisa Beckerman and Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Agnello KC.
- Session 4: 'Hot topics': covering a variety of topics across the R&I market including contentious insolvency and asset recovery issues.
Following the conference, delegates are invited to join us for a drinks reception at The Tokenhouse, Moorgate, 4 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6DA - timings to be announced.
