Following on from the success of the first roll out of the IWIRC Realise Your Potential (RYP) Mentoring Programme, we are excited to share that during 2024, we will be hosting two ‘fireside chats’ led and moderated by professional coach Dr Liz Brown, followed by a networking event.
The first session will be a panel discussion amongst some of our existing mentors and mentees from the 2023 RYP Programme, moderated by Liz, and will be held in person on 30 April 2024 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Linklaters’ office in London.
Liz and the panel will discuss a variety of topics including learnings from the Programme and what has changed for its participants, and what makes an effective strategic networker recapping on the difference between social and purposeful networking. We will extend the discussion to the importance of networking in managing careers, so building on the content from the Programme.
Audience interaction will be important, and we hope that attendees will contribute to discussion on the night. There will then be a strategic networking session, followed by some social networking over drinks.
