Britain’s Hidden Fishes – Screening with Jack Perks

Join East Mercia Rivers Trust for an inspiring evening celebrating the hidden beauty of Britain’s freshwater wildlife.

This special screening of Britain’s Hidden Fishes, narrated by River Monsters host Jeremy Wade, showcases breathtaking underwater footage and remarkable stories filmed over two years across the UK. Prepare to see our native fish like never before.

Wildlife cameraman Jack Perks BBC’s “Fish Twitcher” and passionate advocate for freshwater conservation will guide you through this visual journey from source to sea.

Famous for his seven-year quest to film all 54 of Britain’s freshwater fish species, Jack brings expert insight and infectious enthusiasm to every frame.

Jack is Vice President of Wildfish Conservation and author of Freshwater Fishes of Britain and Field Guide to Pond & River Wildlife.

After the screening, meet the East Mercia Rivers Trust team to learn about local river restoration efforts and discover how you can get involved as a volunteer to help protect these vital ecosystems.
