Event description
Assessing and understanding the visual, vestibular and proprioceptive systems

About this Event

Seminars and courses for Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and other Primary Care Providers, teaching neurology for daily use in your clinic

The brain uses vision, the vestibular system and proprioception (VVP) to build 3D sensory maps of the body and environment. These maps are the basis of mobility and stability, controlling muscle tone, curvature of the spine and posturing of the joints. Before we can treat effectively, we need to be able to asses effectively. This seminar is focused on how to assess the VVP system and understand what the findings mean with regards to movement, balance and posture.

This course is highly practical, focusing on how to use the information taught with real patients. You will learn how to perform a complete neurology examination and what the results mean. Small groups sizes help me to better serve you by keeping the day highly interactive. It’ll be the most useful and usable neurology seminar you’ve attended.

Presented by Jake Cooke, who graduated from AECC in 2009. He is one of the few chiropractors in Britain to have passed the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
