James Arthur was born in Connecticut and grew up in Canada. He is the author of the poetry collection The Suicide's Son, forthcoming in Spring 2019 from Véhicule Press. His debut, Charms Against Lightning, is available from Copper Canyon Press. His chapbook Hundred Acre Wood was published in 2018 by Anstruther Press. Find out more about James here.

Gale Burns is a London-based prizewinning poet who is a writer-in-residence at both the Sydenham Arts Festival and Kingston University, where he teaches Creative Writing. He convenes the long-running Shuffle poetry series in London, and was a 2012 Hawthornden Fellow. He is widely published with three pamphlets and a collection just out from Eyewear entitled Mute House.

Natalie Whittaker is from South East London, where she works as a secondary school teacher. Her poems have been published in Poetry News, Brittle Star, Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual, #MeToo: A Women’s Poetry Anthology and South Bank Poetry. Natalie was awarded second place in the Poetry on the Lake short poem competition 2018 and the Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition 2017. Her debut pamphlet from ignitionpress is called Shadow Dogs.
