Professor Gerard Carruthers occupies the Francis Hutchison Chair of Scottish Literature at Glasgow University. His wide interests include all aspects of Scottish literature and on this occasion he will talk about one of The Glasgow Art Club's own distinguished members, James Bridie, who was on of the founders of The Citizen's Theatre.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the talk commencing at 7:30 p.m.
