Join us for a two day professional intensive, designed to be done in small spaces at home via ZOOM.

17.00-18.00- Repertoire Session/ Creative work

The workshops will delve into JWDs unique floorwork style, incorporating influences from capoeira, break dance and martial arts. Technique classes will cover the principles of JWDs work, exploring flow and volume through super physical dance, as well as learning new tricks and skills.

In repertoire classes participants will learn extracts from the companies work, before using the creative tasks to used to create these pieces to develop their own material.

Before booking please fully read ALL the information below.

Participants must be 18 or over. Classes are suitable for dancers in professional training, professional dancers or those with equivalent qualification/experience.

Health and Safety:

Please make sure you have adequate space to dance in. It is advised that you have at least 3x3 metres.

Please make sure you clear your dance space of objects, hazards or anything that could cause injury.

Please wear loose fitted comfortable clothing, knee pads if you like to wear them for floorwork.

Please have a bottle of water nearby.

Please note that James Wilton Dance may be recording sessions via Zoom in order to improve teacher training and quality.

You can join the meeting 15 minutes before the class starts.
