Jams, Chutneys & Preserves - Woodspeen Cookery School

One of the oldest traditions in the kitchen, preserving fruits and vegetables for the winter store. Learn how to make delicious jams, versatile chutneys and pickles for a store cupboard treat or even for Christmas presents.

• Resourceful cookery is as old as it comes, but this course teaches you many new tricks
• Everything you make will be for you to take home
• Two fruit jams
• Chutneys
• Two quick vegetable pickles
• Fermented traditional style pickle

Course includes:

  • Arrival at 9.45am for tea and coffee and course introduction
  • We will keep you refreshed with tea, coffee and mineral water throughout the morning
  • Enjoy a light lunch made for you by our restaurant chefs
  • Finish course at 2pm with all mornings treats to take home with you

 To take away: All goodies made during the morning and all notes and recipes.
