We will offer you support to improve your CV and interview skills, in order to enhance your employment prospect.

About this event

A kickstart employee will receive specialist support with writing their CV and cover letter, interview preparation and techniques, and job search using a range of methods. We will provide them with a CV template, along with an exemplary copy. There will also be an exemplary application form. A kickstart employee will have 24hours access to our online training materials and workbooks. In addition, they will benefit from a scheduled induction with a tutor at the start of the programme. There is also the opportunity to benefit from three lessons with the tutor.

These are the standard terms and conditions as applicable to the schedule Kickstart Employability programme run by Malearn Training

1. Reservation of a place on a training course

1.2 Reservations can only be accepted through the official booking system Eventbrite

1.3 The person making the reservation must be authorized to make a booking on behalf of themselves and their employer.

1.4 In making a reservation you are agreeing to these terms and conditions on behalf of your employer and therefore agreeing to any costs incurred.

2. Cancellation

2.1 Malearn requires a minimum of a weeks notice (five working days) to cancel a learners place on a training course.

2.2 Failure to cancel a delegate’s place on a training course with less than five working days notice will result in your employer being charged, in full, for the cost of the training session.

2.3 It is possible to amend the name of the Learner attending the training with 48 hours notice. In this situation, we would ask that you email

2.4 Malearn reserves the right to change, cancel or amend the times, dates, and duration of a course should a situation deem this as necessary. In this unlikely event, Malearn would liaise with delegates/employers to seek an alternative option should the replacement training course offered not to be suitable or refund as applicable.

2.5 Cancellations due to injury or bereavement will be referred to the Centre Manager for consideration.
