On Tuesday evenings in January (5 sessions), we will meet for an hour (7-8pm) to discuss a piece of writing that I will pre-distribute. I will make a very short presentation of the key arguments and questions arising from it at the beginning of each session, followed by chairing a communal discussion on those themes.
The chosen pieces will be in the realm of social thought/philosophy, and selected for their 'readability' and interest. They may be historical or contemporary and will be by writers who have been considered influential.
Venue will be in Chagford, and the whole course fee is £25.
Please buy a ticket to confirm your place, and you will be sent readings and further information for the sessions in due course
