Japanese Beginners Programme: Level 1.2
Wed 28 June 2017, 18:30 – 19:30 BST
Classes are offered in blocks of ten weeks for flexibility and affordability and are offered on a rolling basis for new and continuing students. Classes are designed to be small for the greatest interaction between the student and the instructor, who is a native Japanese speaker and experienced Japanese instructor for all ages and interest groups. Students will receive a welcome pack at the start of the course, be provided with all course materials and enjoy school members benefits including access to our new online support system for help about homework or tough subjects covered in class, member's discount on all our courses from languages to tai chi, and members-only events including a haiku poetry workshop.
This course is for continuing students in our beginners programme, and builds upon what has been covered in Beginners 1.1 in all areas of language learning: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will continue to develop their understanding of basic grammatical structures and Hiragana and Katakana scripts. Students will cover: describing the weather, number and time, ordering food and drink, giving simple expressions of likes and dislikes, and describing relationships of friends and family.
