In this short, 4 lessons course, you will learn to paint traditional Japanese themes using black ink (sumi) and water.
Utilizing principles of minimalism, simplicity and the discipline of mind, hand and brush, we will explore the beauty of Bamboo, Plum Blossom, Chrysanthemum and Wild Orchids.
This practice is a form of active meditation in encouraging new ways of observation and self listening as part of healing and inspiration.
Lessons take place at Talia’s studio, in Belsize Park, NW3, London, in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.
Fees include all your tools & materials, work sheets, 1-2-1 tuition and light refreshments.
This is a mixed level course, no previous knowledge needed. Beginners welcomed.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring an apron, a notepad and pen for your notes, an A4 art folder for worksheets and finished pieces
