Trio Manouche “A Swinging Interlude” Plus Special Guests (Part Of The EFG London Jazz Festival) - With a special opening solo set from the legendary songwriter Jo Cang on guitar & vocals. World class swing ensemble Trio Manouche are one of the foremost exponents of Gypsy Swing Jazz, bringing a unique and highly contemporary twist to this ever more popular genre.
They will be performing inspired re-worked classics of the great Gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt together with highly atmospheric arrangements of trad swing greats such as Nat King Cole along with original material written by band leader Simon Harris.
The lineup features London’s Britalian sensation Simon Harris on vocals, guitar & trumpet, Italian guitar maestro Giulio Romano (Antonio Forcione, Mozez) on lead guitar and Cornish double bass wizard Marcus Penrose along with special guests Canadian vocalist Dom Durner (Gypsy Dynamite) & the ace saxophonist Vasilis Xenopoulos who will be bringing yet more infectious energy and virtuosity to this special swinging interlude! “Trio Manouche are a class act …. great soulful swing delivered with wry humour …..” – Suzy Klein BBC Radio 3. “Excellent, I was hooked after just 8 bars…..” – Sting
A word about our seating arrangements
We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.
We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.
Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.
You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm. Performance starts 7.30 pm
