What is the age restriction?

18+ for all shows after 20:30, from 17:00 we allow under 18s at the discretion of the staff. We are running an all ages Hogmanay show in the afternoon with legendary Edinburgh funk band Glamour and the Baybes!

Is there reserved seating?

Accepted Answer

We operate on a first come, first served basis and do not offer table reservations. Please arrive in good time for the doors open time stated on your ticket to give yourself the best chance of securing a seat. Please bear in mind that the venue offers a mix of seated and standing room.

When can I arrive with my ticket?

Accepted Answer

Guaranteed entry with ticket only until an hour after doors open (which is 15 minutes after the gig starts). We allow access for the entire time the gig goes on for but can only reserve space for that amount of time - tickets are then treated as no-shows and resold.

Do you have disabled access?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately as a basement venue and, due to the historic nature of the building, there’s no way to provide disabled access. The venue is accessible via down a set of 16, then 9 stairs with a handrail along the side, and we do allow early entry to shows for accessibility reasons.
