FAQs

How do I access the workshop?

On registering, you will receive a welcome email with the timings of the workshops and instruction on how to join

Must I attend all four workshops?

The learning will be progressive throughout the weekend so you should try to attend all four sessions in order to have the best experience.

What do I need to take part in the online camp?

To take part, you will need to have use of a smartphone, iPad, tablet or laptop and ideally a stand or improvised support for the device so that you can take part hands-free.

Because of the limitations of video calls the emphasis of the sessions will be on appreciating different types of music, approaches to improvisation in solo and group situations and the use of graphic scores and non-traditional notation. Girls will be provided with downloadable resources so they can try improvising at home in between the sessions and given the opportunity to create their own graphic scores , some of which will be performed and recorded by J Frisco at a later date.

Have your instrument ready and bring lots of enthusiasm!
