Description

This year the highly regarded LEAP 2015 will run from the evening of Friday 21st to the afternoon of Sunday 23rd August.
Now in its fourth year, the programme will give the opportunity for aspiring leaders to become better leaders through the high quality training delivered and the chance to reflect on how personality styles impact on so much of what we do and how we interact with others.
Personal development is one of the core areas of opportunity offered within JCI and we believe in developing the leadership skills of our members so they have the confidence and authority to make a real difference in their business, their community and their personal life.
Whether you are employed, run your own business, currently taking on or thinking of taking on a role on your JCI Council Team, this will be the course for you.

  • Understanding yourself and others
  • Motivation and leadership of a team
  • Tips and tools for effective leaders
  • Leadership opportunities and challenges in JCI

Cost
The rate for JCI members from 1st June is £180 which includes:

  • Accommodation at on Friday and Saturday evening (based on 2 people sharing, single rooms can be arranged for an additional fee).
  • Two breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners.
  • First class training and materials to take away.
  • An unforgettable experience.
Cost for non JCI members from 1st June is £255

The programme - This residential programme starts on Friday afternoon from 4pm for an introduction to the programme and an informal social evening. The programme will finish at 3pm on Sunday.

Where? This year we will be hosting the event at the fantastic facilities of BPP in Birmingham. By keeping the location central, we hope to make the academy accessible to as many JCI UK members as possible.

Terms and conditions of Registration:

IMPORTANT - When you register/book for a JCI UK event you agree to be bound by the following terms:-

At all times we endeavour to provide each course/event exactly as we describe it. We also appreciate that things can change for us as well as our members and for that reason we have some simple rules that explain where we stand in certain circumstances.

Payment

When a delegate registers/books a place they are agreeing to pay the course fee. Please pay in one of the following ways within 7 days of registration.

Non-payment will lead to your booking being revoked.

  • Bank Transfer - you will be sent details on booking.
  • Cheque payable to JCI UK received by the date above.

Transfers

When a delegate's circumstances suddenly change and prevent them from attending we will be happy to replace that delegate with another from their chamber, however, you must inform us as soon as possible.

Cancellation
If you provide notice in writing (email will suffice) no later than 12noon on 10 August 2015 informing us that you wish to cancel your registration/booking we will provide you with a refund (if applicable), however you will be liable for a £10 administration charge. Any less notice than this then we will not provide a refund. We will provide as much notice as possible if we need to cancel an event and if we do we will refund you the course fee in full. We will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in reaching the course venue.

Course Content
We reserve the right to make changes to the published programme of an Event (but not the overall content), for example to timings and/or speakers if one of the advertised speakers is unable to attend. In such cases, You will not be entitled to cancel.

Course Venue
Our courses/events are held at a number of venues. We may have to change the published venue for the course/event for reasons beyond our control and in such cases, you will not be entitled to cancel unless the change in venue represents a significant disadvantage to you. You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to that of an external venue and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to behaviour and conduct) that may be in place at any venue from time to time. If you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.
