Description
This is the launch of a new monthly discussion forum for members and is delivered in conjunction with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (JOIC).
Each event will be opened by a subject matter expert from either JOIC, or a leading industry expert, to provide an update on hot topics. The JOIC representative will then leave the meeting, allowing members to discuss the topic under Chatham House rules to share experiences and learn from the stories of others. Any feedback which could help shape future guidance required from the Information Commissioner or influence future seminars of the JDPA will be collated and fed back as appropriate. It is hoped that each event will close by agreeing the topic for the following month, and I would actively encourage members to get involved and to share their experiences (good and bad!) with fellow members.
