Jeepney Sign Painting Workshop by Studio Haluhalo

We’re hosting a Jeepney Sign Painting Workshop with Studio Haluhalo!

This session introduces participants to the vibrant art of Jeepney sign painting, a bold and colourful lettering style found on the exteriors of jeepneys, a popular mode of transport in the Philippines.

We'll teach you basic sign painting techniques, introduce the characteristics of jeepney typography, and use them to create our own personalised jeepney-inspired signs. You'll be invited to incorporate meaningful words, place names from home towns, or personal affirmations. You'll leave the workshop with a sign that can put on your wall or on a door, as well as a new painting / lettering technique to use in your own practice. Materials supplied!
